Prologue
A hundred years have passed since the events of the original Dragon Quest game. In that time, three new nations have emerged, founded by the descendants of Alefgard's great hero. However, their peaceful existence is now threatened. The fallen High Priest Hargon has summoned demon hordes from the darkness, pushing the land to the brink of destruction once again. As the young prince of Midenhall and a descendant of the legendary warrior Erdrick, your task is to find two other heirs to the heroic bloodline. Together, you must defeat Hargon and restore peace to your world.
